Meth Ring Kingpins Plead Guilty Thursday

Two more drug kingpins in the Montgomery County methamphetamine ringhave pleaded guilty to their crimes. Troy Dudas, 36, formerly of Limerick, and David Penna, 36, of the 1300 block of Cabin Road, Hatfield Township, both pleaded guilty Thursday to their involvement in the ring, according to Peg Gibbons of The Intelligencer. David Penna, however, will not face jail time — he received a four-year probation after pleading guilty to lesser offense. According to Gibbons, Dudas entered an open guilty plea, throwing himself on the mercy of the court. He faces up to 12 years in prison. Upper Gwynedd Man Admits Racketeering in Meth Bust Case

An Upper Gwynedd and former Hatfield man, described as "a victim of his own addiction," pleaded guilty to racketeering charges in Montgomery County court Monday, pegging him as one of three ringleaders in a methamphetamine ring across two counties in Southeastern Pennsylvania. Francesco "Frank" Messina, 43, of the 600 block of Garfield Avenue, West Point, pleaded guilty to corrupt organizations, possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine and conspiracy in connection with incidents that occurred between December 2011 and March 2012, according to Carl Hessler of North Penn Life. Messina was the primary operator of Cosmos Motors in Lansdale. One other major target — Jeff Penna, of Hatfield — pleaded guilty to racketeering/corrupt …
