Citizen's Bank in Giant on Knapp Road in Montgomery was robbed of more than $1,200 Thursday, but the alleged robber from New Jersey was arrested by Towamencin Township Police.
A Hamilton, New Jersey man allegedly made off with more than $1,200 from the Citizen's Bank in Giant Food Store in Montgomery Township Thursday afternoon, but was nabbed by Towamencin Township Police 15 minutes later. The bank was last robbed March 6. Freddie Feliciano, 38, faces charges of robbery, terroristic threats, theft and other related offenses in Montgomeryville District Court. He remains incarcerated following arraignment by District Judge Rebar, who set bail at $100,000 cash, according to court records. A preliminary hearing is set for May 29. It's Gary Zitin versus Patricia Gallagher unofficially for tax collector in Montgomery Township in November. Democrat Zitin was unofficially successful over his contender Karen Pizzichillo in the Democratic Primary Tuesday. According to Montgomery County election results, Zitin unofficially garnered 244 votes, or 60.8 percent, over Pizzichillo's 157 votes, of 37 percent, of all eight precincts reporting in the township. Gallagher, who has no Republican contention, received 509 votes in the Primary.

The two-vehicle accident occurred at Horsham and Stump roads in Montgomery Township.
A man suffered a head injury and was transported to Abington Memorial Hospital following a crash on eastbound Horsham Road near Stump Road Friday morning, according to The Reporter.
