Hatfield Township Police are searching for a man in his 30s who robbed a man at gunpoint of cash and property under a bridge in Centennial Park in Hatfield Borough Wednesday night. The suspect is described as a man in his 30s, 6 feet 1 inch to 6 feet 4 inches tall, weighing 150 to 200 pounds, wearing blue jeans, tan work boots, and a black-hooded sweatshirt, police said. His face was covered by a black bandana, police said. On Jan. 23, at 6:55 p.m., Hatfield Township Police responded to an armed robbery dispatch at Centennial Park on Cherry Street in the borough. A lone suspect robbed the BP at Sumneytown Pike and Broad Street at gunpoint Thursday night and fled with cash toward Sumneytown Pike
Upper Gwynedd Police are seeking a man who used a handgun to rob the BP gas station at 868 Sumneytown Pike in Upper Gwynedd Thursday at 9:52 p.m. Police said the suspect entered the store and asked for a pack of Newports. The clerk opened the register and the man produced a black semi-automatic handgun, police said. He then jumped on the counter and pointed the gun at the clerk, police said. He then reached into the register and took an undetermined amount of cash. He then left the store and walked toward Sumneytown Pike, police said. Lansdale, Upper Gwynedd and Montgomery Township police departments assisted in capturing the suspects near Wissahickon Park Apartments on Sunday
Two Hispanic males were apprehended Sunday near Valleybrook Drive and Wissahickon Park Apartments in Lansdale after they fled from a hit-and-run accident on East Main Street in Upper Gwynedd. The accident occurred around 12:10 p.m. and the suspects fled toward Lakeview Drive in Lansdale. Sgt. Alex Kromdyk of Lansdale Police said three officers were called to assist in a search around 12:20 p.m. Lansdale officers first responded to the 1000 block of East Main Street for the hit-and-run accident and learned that the two suspects fled eastbound on Main Street and then northbound on Lakeview Drive, police said.
