Montgomery Township supervisors poised to amend zoning code to regulate digital billboards
With the new 202 Parkway coming in, Montgomery Township supervisors are making sure the corridor doesn’t light up with digital billboards in the future. Supervisors are presently reviewing a proposed amendment to the Billboard Overlay District that, among other things, will limit location of billboards and regulate the brightness and type of digital billboards. At present, the Billboard Overlay District exists on Route 309 near Stump Road and the quarry. Supervisors will review recommendations for an amendment, and provide their likes and dislikes to planning director Bruce Shoupe.
