JEOPARDY! Seeking Contestants Through Jan. 10

Trivia buffs, register for your shot at the first round of competition: the online quiz.

Are you bored at the lack of some stiff competition in Trivial Pursuit? Do you find bar Quizzo fails to meet your rigorous personal standards? Are you tired of shouting at the television and not winning money? All that could change in a flash if you perform well enough on the entrance exam for America's preeminent quiz show, Jeopardy!, which is holding online tryouts through Thursday. Hopefuls should register for their chance to compete at the show's website—but be warned. Most of the test times remaining are geared for folks in the Central and Western timezones, so if you want to play, you might have to stay up a little later. Good luck! Where to Give Locally for Hurricane Sandy Cleanup

This is an ongoing and updated list of local Hurricane Sandy cleanup efforts in the North Penn, Indian Valley and beyond. Email volunteerism efforts to tony.didomizio@patch.com. The Towamencin Soccer Club U9F Tornadoes and U12F Tigers are coordinating a collecting effort on Saturday, Nov. 10 at Grist Mill Park fields from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The park and fields are at the corner of Forty Foot Road and Allentown Road. Collection will be delivered to Fairview Village Church in Eagleville, who will then deliver to New York and New Jersey. Here are needed items in their effort on Saturday:   The Gutter Guys at Route 309 and Trewigtown Road in Colmar are collecting clothes, blankets, pots, pans, silverware, dog food and more for hurricane victims…

News Next Door: NJ 12-year-old Girl Still Missing

Clayton, Gloucester County, NJ girl reported missing Saturday.

The community of Clayton, N.J. is still in search of a missing 12-year-old girl named Autumn Pasquale. According to West Deptford Patch, the girl went missing in the area of Scotland Run Park. Pasquale is 5 feet, 4 inches tall, weighs 120 pounds, and has blue eyes and wavy blonde hair that's usually in a ponytail or a loose bun. She was wearing shorts and a white T-shirt, riding a 20-inch BMX Odyssey bicycle. Authorities have announced a $10,000 reward in connection with information on Pasquale's whereabouts. Anyone with information regarding the girl's whereabouts is asked to call the Clayton Police Department at 856-881-2301.  For the full story, see West Deptford Patch's story.
