A mother and stepfather of a Towamencin man reported his alleged theft of more than $600 from their PayPal accounts to Towamencin Township Police in December, and now that man was arraigned last Thursday on two felonies and five misdemeanors. Jeremy Richard Wilder, 37, of an apartment on the 1300 block of Fairbourne Court, is charged with two felony counts of computer trespassing in order to transfer funds, two counts of access device fraud, two counts of theft by unlawful taking of movable property and misdemeanor receiving stolen property, according to court records. Wilder’s preliminary hearing is Jan. 11, 2013 at 10 a.m. in Lansdale district court. Bail was set at $10,000 cash by District Judge Harold Borek, according to court records…

PayPal announced this year that shoppers at The Home Depot, Hollister, Foot Locker and Abercrombie & Fitch can now pay with their mobile number and a PIN associated with their PayPal account. Hollister and Foot Locker can be found at Montgomery Mall. The closest Abercrombie & Fitch is at Willow Grove Park Mall. For almost 15 years, people have used PayPal to shop online and on mobile devices. Now, millions of PayPal users worldwide, can also pay securely at their favorite local stores. The new in-store payment system is free of transaction fees for shoppers. Since the tragic death of Skyler Kauffman, many family members and community volunteers have undergone campaigns to help raise money for funeral and memorial expenses. Thanks to the victim's cousin, Christine Pendleton, you can make your donation online. "Yesterday, we were out all day with buckets and flyers," said Pendleton, during an interview Thursday. "We're doing everything we can in the area. We have flyers and donation cans at several shops," said Pendleton. Here's the problem ... the clerks have no idea how to use PayPal for payment. On the other hand, when you contact PayPal, they tell you, you have to have a bank account or debit card linked to their account. What's the purpose of that?
