A South Korean pastor from Montgomery Township broke the Eighth Commandment, according to The Reporter, when he committed theft and conspiracy theft in 2008, for agreeing to take part in an insurance scam involving his business associate and her son’s Lexus. Kyung Soon Kim, 53, of the 100 block of Robertson Court, was sentenced to two consecutive weekends in the county jail, according to the article, after pleading guilty to the aforementioned charges. Kim also has to pay $24,554 in restitution to Liberty Mutual Insurance. Penna, 42, of the 1200 block of Cabin Road, Hatfield, was sentenced to seven years’ probation for pleading guilty to numerous felony counts of possession with intent to distribute meth between December 2011 and March 2012, according to Carl Hessler Jr. of Journal Register. Penna’s brother, David Penna, 36, of the 1800 block of Valley Forge Road, Towamencin, already pleaded guilty to his involvement in the methamphetamine ring and received four years’ probation. On Tuesday, the resident of the 600 block of South Valley Forge Road admitted to stealing more than $13,000 from the Douglass, Montgomery County golf course in after-hours thefts, while employed there in 2011, according to a Pottstown Mercury article. Grant was ordered to report to prison on Sept. 12, 2012. The U.S. District Attorney's Office of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania has Grant listed with a Lansdale mailing address. Scott L. McQuirns Sr., 53, of the 100 block of Henning Drive, Montgomery Township, was sentenced Wednesday to five years in prison for possession of child pornography, according to the U.S. Department of Justice of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. McQuirns will report to prison in April. The maximum McQuirns could have received was 10 years in prison, lifetime supervised release and a $250,00 fine, according to the U.S. Department of Justice.
