Lansdale Police have a warrant filed for the arrest of John Sambath, 19, of Philadelphia, who is the alleged shooter in a September 4, 2011 shooting in the Wedgewood development of the borough. According to Matt Coughlin of The Intelligencer, Sambath allegedly shot a now 19-year-old man in the shoulder during an altercation in the neighborhood of Moyers Road. According to court records, Sambath, of Asian nationality, is charged with 24 criminal offenses: felony criminal homicide, felony burglary, felony criminal trespass, two counts of felony aggravated assault, felony carrying a firearm without a license, felony discharge of a firearm into an occupied structure, six misdemeanor counts of reckless endangerment, misdemeanor criminal …
