Former Teacher Charged with 70 Counts of Child Sex Crimes

Nicole Jacques, of Hatfield, allegedly had an affair with a former 15-year-old boy, police said

A parochial school teacher from Hatfield has been charged with 20 counts of statutory rape, 20 counts of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, 10 counts of unlawful contact with a minor and 20 counts of a corruption of minors by Hatfield Township Police Monday for an alleged affair with a 15-year-old boy. Nicole Jacques, 25, of Hatfield Village Apartments, was arraigned Monday before District Judge Harry J. Nesbitt III and remanded to Montgomery County prison in lieu of 10 percent of $50,000 cash bail. Jacques will have a preliminary hearing April 4 at 1 p.m. before District Judge Kenneth Deatelhauser. somehow I think she will get off with a lighter sentence than a man. A male teacher would be looking at 20 years or more for this crime. She may even beat the sex offender registry. Don't misunderstand that I believe it is proper for a man or a woman. Pink Floyd said, "Leave the kids alone" and that is the way it should be. I hope I am wrong about her sentence.   more ›
