Three Injured in PA Turnpike Accident in Salford

The accident occurred at about 8 p.m. Tuesday in the southbound lanes of I-476.

MyFoxPhilly.com reported a two-car accident on the Northeast Extension Tuesday night severely injured one person, who was flown to a nearby hospital for treatment. Two others were also injured. The accident occurred in the southbound lanes of I-476 between Lansdale and Quakertown in Salford Township, according to the report. WMFZ reports at least one car caught fire. Three Injured in West Point Pike Accident

The accident occurred in Upper Gwynedd Tuesday night at the intersection with Park Road.

Three people were injured in a Tuesday night crash at Park Road and West Point Pike in West Point, Upper Gwynedd, according to The Reporter. A female teenage passenger was transported via helicopter to a Philadelphia hospital, according to the article. The other drivers—a teenage male and adult female—were taken via Volunteer Medical Service Corps of Lansdale to Lansdale Hospital. Reports are the teenage male driver was east on Park Road, and failed to stop at a stop sign. An SUV north on West Point Pike collided with the teenager’s sedan, according to the article. Lansdale Teen Uninjured in Ridge Pike Crash

The victims, a mother and her two children, suffered what were described as non-life-threatening injuries.

Last updated 9:10 p.m. Thursday A mother and her two young children were injured Thursday evening in a two car collision on Ridge Pike in Upper Providence Township. Officer Scott Reynolds of the Upper Providence Township Police department said the injured driver, a woman in her 20s, and her two children sustained what he described as non-life-threatening injuries. The mother and children were from "the Collegeville area," Reynolds said. Reynolds said the male driver of the second car, a 17-year-old from Lansdale, was not injured. An Ohio man was killed and a home was destroyed in Polk, Ohio Tuesday afternoon, after a semitrailer driven by a North Wales man collided with a flatbed truck at an intersection. Three people were injured in the crash at Ohio 302 and U.S. 42. According to the Mansfield News Journal, James P. Dutton, 49, of Neshaminy Falls Circle in Montgomery Township, was pulled to safety by bystanders following the crash. Killed in the accident was Detin R. Moore, 27, of Norwich, Ohio.
