Citizen's Bank in Giant on Knapp Road in Montgomery was robbed of more than $1,200 Thursday, but the alleged robber from New Jersey was arrested by Towamencin Township Police.
A Hamilton, New Jersey man allegedly made off with more than $1,200 from the Citizen's Bank in Giant Food Store in Montgomery Township Thursday afternoon, but was nabbed by Towamencin Township Police 15 minutes later. The bank was last robbed March 6. Freddie Feliciano, 38, faces charges of robbery, terroristic threats, theft and other related offenses in Montgomeryville District Court. He remains incarcerated following arraignment by District Judge Rebar, who set bail at $100,000 cash, according to court records. A preliminary hearing is set for May 29. Towamencin Township Police did not locate the suspicious intruder, who entered a home on Winding Road the night of May 21.
A homeowner on the 1100 block of Winding Road, Towamencin, encountered a drunk, bloody, beaten-up man named “Bill” inside his home on May 21, according to Towamencin Township Police. Police said the intruder was not found after he fled the residence. Officers responded to a report that an intruder had entered the home at 9:40 p.m. on May 21. The homeowner heard his front door open, and initially believed it was a family member returning home from work, police said. The homeowner walked to the lower level of his home and encountered the stranger, police said. The man was visibly intoxicated, police said. Towamencin Township Police are investigating a reported burglary on the 1800 block of Valley Forge Road that occurred Monday between 7 a.m. and 7:20 p.m. where a $150 notebook computer was taken, police said. Police said entry was first attempted via prying on the front door. After that was unsuccessful, the burglar or burglars got into the home by damaging a rear basement window, police said. Kevin Covaleski, 47, of Quakertown, allegedly had a loaded .22-caliber gun concealed in his car when he was caught by Towamencin Township officers allegedly having sex with another man in a Holiday Inn parking lot.
A Quakertown man, who Towamencin Police caught allegedly engaged in sexual activity with another man in the parking lot of Holiday Inn in January, waived his preliminary hearing Tuesday in Lansdale District Court on a misdemeanor charge of carrying a loaded concealed weapon without a license, according to court records. Kevin Covaleski, 47, of the unit block of S. 11th Street, also waived a charge of disorderly conduct to Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas formal arraignment in May. Covaleski filed the waiver on Monday, according to court records. Covaleski was taken into custody by Towamencin Police around 11:30 a.m. Jan. 24 and charged the two offenses, police said. Jonathan Philip Dippold, 30, of the 1000 block of Tayler Drive, Folcroft, PA, was taken into custody by Towamencin Police Feb. 19 for alleged illegal possession of a stolen firearm and two other felonies while at Holiday Inn in Towamencin, police said. Dippold faces charges of felony possession of a firearm by a person prohibited from possessing a firearm, felony carrying a firearm without a license and felony receiving stolen property, according to court records. Dippold has a preliminary hearing set for March 7 at 11:30 a.m. before District Judge Harold Borek in Lansdale. Towamencin Township Police are investigating the burglaries at Sotter Apartments, which occurred Friday, Feb. 8
Towamencin Township Police are investigating three attempted burglaries of three separate apartments at Sotter Apartments, 1211 Allentown Road, police said. The attempted burglaries occurred between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. Feb. 8, 2013, police said. Entry was attempted by either cutting or prying exterior window screens to the apartments. An 18-year-old student at North Penn High School will be charged with possession of weapons on school property via summons, after a 10-inch Gerber knife, a KA-BAR knife and a multi-blade knife were found in his vehicle, police said. On Jan. 17, at 9:17 a.m., Towamencin Township Police responded to the high school on Valley Forge Road for a report of weapons possession on school property.
