Wet Weather Calls For A Lousy Leap Day
This day only comes once every four years - and it will be a wet and messy one.
As an undergraduate attending Penn State University, an extra day of classes from the Leap Year of 2012 is a little bit disappointing. To make things worse I can now expect dark, gloomy and wet weather for the entire day into tomorrow. Depending on your location, some wintry precipitation may be possible in the early morning. The more north you are, for example in Lehigh Valley, some sleet and freezing rain could start around the morning commute. Rain will quickly take over and may be heavy at times during the afternoon. The high temperatures will be a bit cooler than the previous days in the lower 40s. The winds will stay relatively calm blowing from the east-southeast.
