Violent criminal with multiple charges over the last 10 years.... Let back out on the street.... Revolving door of our joke of a justice system. Philly likes to blame "guns", I blame the DA and AG for their failure to keep these people behind bars.

ReplyJoan, you knew that was going to happen, we all did... This is why the building of Walmart and the additional Septa routes into our town was fought against for so long. Give it 5 more years, Sproul Road and West Chester pike will look more like Baltimore Pike and Chester Pike...

ReplySorry, but this doesn't work... I signed up over a year ago and still get people showing up to my door. I was instructed to call 911 but I doubt anything happens to these people. Especially with all the break in's happening in our towns, you need to treat any unknown guest as a potential threat unless proven otherwise.
Sad times, but that's the reality. Selling internet, Jesus Christ or perfume? Don't come to my door

I agree. Police need reasonable suspicion to detain you. Seeing a "van with a logo" does not qualify. They also have no right to demand ID unless driving a vehicle (which neither man was at the time).
If this is how police work is going to be conducted, we'll need to start carrying lawyers around in our back pockets to educate the cops

ReplyHere's an idea.... get a gun, a LTCF and carry it everyday. Town watch, more police, etc are good supplemental ideas, but NOTHING, and I mean NOTHING is better than an armed person, ready to protect themselves.

ReplyMarijuana has many safe and effective medicinal purposes. It's a naturally growing substance on our earth. Legalizing it will help many people get the relief and treatment to pain, suffering, ADD and other forms of illness like cancer. Legalizing it will also create a tax revenue for the state/country to pay down our debt. Legalizing it will also save billions of dollars from a pointless and ineffective "war on drugs" <- LOL

At least 55% of people obviously have not studied empirical data confirming all of the above.Yet..... Big Tobacco companies remain in business and cigarettes remain legal...

Very glad to hear he is home again, but don't mess around with obvious red flags like this. If he is suffering from depression, being bullied or generally just "vacant", the parents need to address this immediately.
