Shooting Location is Still 'Active' Scene

The location of a morning shooting remains an "active" scene, officials told 6ABC.

The location of a shooting Monday morning in the area of Harvard Drive in Montgomery Township remains an active scene, 6ABC reported. Police told the network SWAT teams are attempting to reach a man who is inside a home there.

NBC10 reported the shooting took place around 10 a.m. at a home along the 2200 block of Harvard Drive. A medical helicopter transported one person to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, officials told NBC10.

CBS Philly reported police were restricting people to enter or exit the development.

Gwyn Nor Elementary is on "lockout" due to the shooting, school officials told The Reporter. Lockout means no one can come in or leave the building and the blinds are drawn but the day continues as normal, North Penn Community Engagement Manager Christine Liberaski told The Reporter.
