Here's five cool events for your hot weekend.

Where/When: Main Street, Lansdale; June 3, 6 to 9 p.m.

Why go: The monthly festival will have 75 outdoor vendors, musicians in concert, clowns, face painting, inflatables, games and other outdoor entertainment.

Where/When: Mary, Mother of the Redeemer Parish, 1325 Upper State Road, North Wales; June 4, 8 a.m. to noon

Why go: The third annual “Your Trash–My Treasure” yard sale will take place rain or shine. (In case of rain, it will be moved inside.)

Pricing: Free admission

Where/When: , 1146 Stump Hall Road, Collegeville; June 4, 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Why go: The second annual Fore the Troops Golf Outing benefits Treats for Troops, an organization that sends care packages to servicemen and women around the world.

Pricing: $400 per foursome, includes scramble outing with shotgun start, continental breakfast, buffet lunch and beverage, contest holes plus designative driver and "beat the pro"

Where/When: Green Lane Park, 2144 Snyder Road, Green Lane; June 4, 9 a.m.

Why go: Due to budget cutbacks, Green Lane Park no longer has the resources to maintain its trail system, so Bikeworks and the Montgomery Chapter of the Pennsylvania Equine Council are enlisting your help. Meet at the Red Trail Parking Lot on Knight Road and spend an hour, or the whole day, helping out. Bring shovels, rakes, picks or saws. No power tools.

Pricing: $20 in advance, $25 at the door

Where/When: Downtown Lansdale; June 4, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Why go:
Come out and celebrate your hometown! The 34th annual event will feature music, entertainment, food, a petting zoo, and much more. Proceeds benefit local charities.
