Color Theory Pastel Drawing class

Chris McDermott will be teaching Color theory and pastel drawing on Saturday 4:30 to 5:30 or later in the gallery.

The class will be $12 a session and will run for 4 weeks.
12/7, 12/14, 12/28, 1/4

You pay at the door for each session. You do not need to have any prior drawing skills to take this class. All ages welcome!

Cash only please. Class limit is 10 due to space, so be sure to sign up, contact Chris to confirm your spot.

Material list

Drawing Board or clipboard depending on size of piece you want to do

Sketchbook, Sketch pad, or pastel paper (Size is up to you. Make sure it fits on your board)

Easel if you have one. We will be providing a limited number

Workable Fixative

Soft pastels (they do not have to be expensive professional brand)

Water Colors (needs to be in a tube)

Red, Blue, Yellow oil paint

Paint brushes for oil or acrylic

2H, 2B pencils

You do not have to bring paint if you do not want. It is just a technique I will be going over.


Photo references of piece you would like to paint. It will be very cold
and class will be help inside. Still life’s will be used for some
classes.
