Dining with Diabetes Program at The PEAK Center



Wednesdays, November 6,13, 20, 27 & December 4

Preregistration is required

Learning that you have diabetes can be overwhelming. There are many new things to learn and it can be difficult to know where to start. In this program, registered Dietitians and Certified Diabetes Educators will lead discussions addressing:

• Important numbers you need to know

• Planning healthy meals

• Healthy food preparation

Find out what's happening in Montgomeryville-Lansdalewith free, real-time updates from Patch.

• Physical activity

Each class will offer food demonstrations and tasting, physical activity ideas, and discussion regarding important information to help you manage your diabetes.  The first session on November 6 will include lab tests to measure HbA1c and lipid levels.  If you have been told that you have Type 2 diabetes, you will want to participate in this program!
