Free!! When Did Free Become $1.97?

If something is free - It is without charge.  It does not mean free after you pay shipping and handling.  In today's Patch, a company offers free ways to get money for people over 50; what they really mean is free after you pay shipping and handling.  That is not free it is $1.97 for information on how you May but more than likely May NOT qualify for free government benefits over the age of 50. Along with the list of "free stuff" few qualify for, you get information on how to buy gold...etc. The so called information on how to get something for nothing is a mass of advertisments. Most people over 50 are worried about reaching 60 with a roof and food.  I think ALL advertisements should state exactly what they mean.  The bottom line would inform the consumer on how many have benefited from the product (better have researched it!) and the real cost.  That's my take, what's yours?
