Shooting Reported in Towamencin Township; Cops Find No Gun

Emergency crews now cleared the area of Boyd and Swartley.

Officials report that no one was harmed in an alleged shooting in Towamencin Township this night. A concerned neighbor called in a domestic dispute case in the area of Boyd Avenue and Swartley Road, Towamencin.

Upon arrival, police report that they did not find a gun, nor could they corroborate the neighbor's story about a gun having gone off at all. Police said there was no said shooting after they'd investigated the scene.

The report says that a male and female were fighting in that location. The neighbor called in during an altercation.

The male suffered wounds and scratches, while the female in the area was taken into custody by Towamencin police, according to reports.

According to the Montgomery County Department of Public Safety's computer-aided dispatch, a call went out at 10:53 p.m. to respond to a call in Towamencin Township.

Crews from  are currently being dispatched to the area of Boyd Avenue and Swartley Road for callers suspecting a "shooting" in the vicinity.
