Sneaky Cell Phone Thief Caught on Surveillance at Rite Aid

A man stole a cell phone off the pharmacy counter at Rite Aid on July 3, police said.

Lansdale Borough Police are looking for a man who sneakily stole a cell phone from the Rite Aid on West Main Street last week.

According to police, a man accidentally left his cell phone on the pharmacy counter on July 3 and walked away. A short time later, surveillance footage showed a man in a red shirt steal the phone from the counter.

Police said the thief “placed his hand over the phone, placing the phone in his pocket, before walking away,” Lansdale Police announced on its Facebook page.
