Woman Used Counterfeit Money at Liquor Store, Police Say

An older white female reportedly purchased $93.23 of alcohol with a counterfeit $100 bill.

The Towamencin Township Police Department is searching for a female who used a counterfeit bill to purchase alcohol at the Pennsylvania Wine and Spirits Store on Valley Forge Road.

The report states that the woman used a counterfeit $100 bill to purchase $93.23 of alcohol at 11:39 a.m. on June 28. An employee later determined that the bill was a $1 bill that had been altered.
The woman is described as being an older white female, roughly 5 feet, 10 inches tall with a thin build and glasses. Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 215-368-7606.
