The Montgomery County chapter of Bikers Against Child Abuse will hold their 5th-Annual Victim's Benefit on Saturday, March 24, at Third and Walnut in Lansdale.

The group was recently honored by the Montgomery Bar Association, who presented them with the Honorable Milton O. Moss Public Service Award for their efforts in the community.

"The money we raise is donated directly to victims of child abuse, as well as the Victim's Service Center in Norristown, the Laurel House and Mission Kids," said Richard Bennett, president of the Montco chapter.

The benefit is one of two big fundraising events thrown each year by the club, with the second being a September toy-run that benefits the Office of Children and Youth in Norristown.  Last year's benefit raised over $1,400

"This year we will have music, homemade food, beer and soda, door prizes, Chinese auctions, 50-50 raffles and plenty of baskets of cheer," said Bennett.

Doors will open at 7 p.m., and the event will run until 11 p.m.  Tickets cost $20 per person.
