About Tony

Email Tony Di Domizio.

Tony Di Domizio has spent 13 years in the journalism industry, and is the recipient of seven editorial awards in first place, second place and honorabe mention categories from the Pennsylvania Newspaper Association, the Suburban Newspapers of America, Pennsylvania Associated Press of Managing Editors and Society of Professional Journalists.

His beginnings were as a writer and editor for the North Penn High School Knight Crier newspaper and an intern at WNPV 1440 AM in Lansdale.

He moved on to graduate from Kutztown University in 2002 with a degree in professional writing, with expertise in all areas of journalism and communications including magazine writing, investigative journalism, creative writing, poetry, popular culture analysis and video scriptwriting.

At Kutztown, he was editor-in-chief at The Keystone newspaper and interned for Montgomery Newspapers, now Montgomery Media in Ft. Washington, Pa. At Montgomery Newspapers, Tony was the staff writer for The Colonial and Montgomery Life newspapers.

From Montgomery Newspapers, Tony jumped ship to work as a staff writer for The Morning Call's weekly newspaper chain, The Chronicles, and was based out of Emmaus. He covered news, features and lifestyles for the residents of Salisbury, Saucon Valley and Southern Lehigh.

In 2004, Tony was hired as staff writer at The Reporter newspaper in Lansdale, Pa. This move brought him back to his roots where he was born and raised. Three years later, he would move up to senior writer and then layout editor, taking charge of the auto section and the homes and living special section.

While at The Reporter, Tony established numerous contacts and connections with the local readers and goverment officials. That loyalty and trust has been brought over to the Lansdale Patch where readers can continue to be informed of the daily events in the Lansdale and Montgomeryville area.

He resides on the Lansdale-Towamencin border with his fiancee Elizabeth, their dog Hershey, their cat Easter, seven unnamed fish and one hermit crab.

The Montgomery Township Historical Society recently launched a website. Can we advertise the site or announce the launch on this site? What's the best way to do this?

Thanks. David

I'm a commercial realtor who leases station square shops and office suites on church rd, next to merck and train station. Id like to advertise to attract more retailers or professionals to lease our vacant space, in addition to the give our current tenants a platform to advertise their businesses in conjunction. I tried to fill out ad form, don't think it went through.....gharrison@lpre.com
