Moyer Indoor/Outdoor Set to Demolish Reliance Inn

The HVAC company in Souderton purchased the property in October. The demolition is needed for better truck traffic to its feed mill

Moyer Indoor/Outdoor is set to demolish the Reliance Inn, which was recently purchased by the HVAC and pool maintenance company.

According to Theresa Hegel of PhillyBurbs.com, the former restaurant and inn at East Reliance Road and South Fourth Street will be demolished by the beginning of February.

Moyer Indoor/Outdoor purchased the property for $290,000 in October, according to Montgomery County records.

The reason for demolition: Better truck traffic to Moyer Indoor/Outdoor’s feed mill, according to the article.

The three-story building was built in 1882. When Moyer Indoor/Outdoor owner David Moyer was asked by Hegel about preserving the building, Moyer said his company has been around longer, even before Souderton was incorporated. Moyer said the demolition is a “natural progression.”

Sherrianne,
No one said you couldnt buy the building and preserve it. I love how people want to mandate what others should do with their property.

Doggie Style at 20 Airport Sq. North Wales closed down the store today without telling employees and customers. Employees came to the store to find everything packed up and gone. A lot of dogs have been hurt and abused by this company.
