1. More than 500 students from North Penn School District will come together and participate in the second annual North Penn School District String Festival at 7 p.m. at North Penn High School’s auditorium. The students range from kindergarten to 12th grade.

2. North Penn School District Board of Directors will vote to approve or deny three charter school applications tonight at its 7 p.m. meeting at the Educational Services Center, 401 E. Hancock St., Lansdale.

3. Wendy David, of the United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey, will speak about the launch of 2-1-1 at the Greater North Penn Collaborative for Health & Human Services at 10:30 a.m.

4. It’s karaoke night at Tex Mex Connection, 201 E. Walnut St., North Wales, at 9 p.m.

5. Wissahickon Valley Public Library, 650 Skippack Pike, Blue Bell, will show “Intouchables” at its 2 p.m. Tuesday Matinee.
