Hilltown Man Succumbs to Injuries from Motorcycle Crash
Allen Steigerwalt, 69, of Mill Road, crashed his motorcycle on Route 309 in Bucks County on August 25. He died four days later at Lehigh Valley Hospital
Allen Steigerwalt, 69, of Mill Road in Hilltown Township, died at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Salisbury Township Wednesday night, succumbing to injuries suffered in a motorcycle accident in Bucks County four days earlier.
According to Lehigh County First Deputy Coroner Eric Minnich, Steigerwalt was pronounced dead at 8:27 p.m.
Minnich said Steigerwalt died as a result of blunt force trauma to the head. The death was ruled an accident, Minnich said.

According to Minnich, Steigerwalt was driving a motorcycle north on Route 309 on August 25 at 4:30 p.m., when he lost control and was ejected.
The accident occurred in the area of mile market 25.2 in West Rockhill Township.

Pennridge Regional Police Department and Lehigh County Coroner’s Office are investigating the crash.
