Chief Robert McDyre of the Lansdale Police Department has declared a snow emergency for Lansdale Borough effective 3 p.m. Thursday until 6 p.m. Friday.
Vehicles parked on borough streets where signage indicates no parking during a snow emergency are required, by law, to be moved elsewhere in order to allow snow plowing of the road surface.
Lansdale Borough reminds residents and business owners that it is illegal to deposit snow removed from sidewalks or private property onto any borough street.
