One Rescued in Jeep, NPSD School Van Crash in Lansdale

A North Penn School District van unoccupied with students crashed into a Jeep Patriot at Seventh and Line streets in Lansdale around 4:15 p.m.
Fire crews from Fairmount Fire Co. extricated a woman from the Jeep via cutting of the door, per reports.
Volunteer Medical Service Corps transported one to an area hospital.
Colmar Fire Co. was also called to assist, but was recalled prior to arrival, per scanner reports.
The driver of the van told The Reporter he went left on a yellow light and the woman did not stop. He took responsibility for the accident and was able to drive the van from the scene with minor front end damage.
No information as to identity of driver at this time. The Reporter printed that the woman was responsive and alert.
