A special hoagie sale fundraiser begins at 10 a.m. at Upper Gwynedd Fire Dept., 660 Garfield Ave., West Point

1. Lansdale Library holds a “Paper in Motion: Origami Workshop” at 10:30 a.m. Learn how to create a sculpture by folding a single square of paper.

2. A special hoagie sale fundraiser begins at 10 a.m.. Choice of Italian, turkey or ham. Cost is $5 each. All proceeds benefit leukemia patient Matthew Knoebel, 13, and his family.

3. Christ United Methodist Church in Towamencin holds its annual All-You-Can-Eat Spaghetti Dinner from 4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.Tickets are $12 for adults, $10 for seniors and youth over nine, and youth ages four to eight are free. Take out available. Free babysitting available. Proceeds benefit the church’s youth group’s summer mission trip.

4. There’s a comedy night benefiting the Montgomery Twisters softball team at 8 p.m. at Crystal Rose Catering & Conference Center, 969 Bethlehem Pike, Montgomeryville. “The Legendary Wid” Michael Baldwin performs, along with John Kinsel and Pat Baker. Cost is $20.

5. The Jazz Sanctuary, a nonprofit organization, will perform at The Church of the Holy Spirit in Lower Salford during its Mardi Gras fundraiser.
