Marcus Roman, 52, of Lansdale, Poverty Caretaker

Roman was an accounting student at Lansdale School of Business, according to the tribute.

A Philadelphia-born Lansdale man named Marcus Roman, 52, died Sunday of cardiac arrest, and was featured in the Philadelphia Daily News for his human services work in Montgomery County.

The tribute stated that Roman followed his father, former Canaan Baptist Church pastor Rev. Gus Roman, in taking care of some of Philadelphia’s “pockets of despair.”

Roman was an accounting student at Lansdale School of Business, according to the tribute.
