Letter: Mother of Friend of Lansdale Robbery Suspect Defends Teen

Cindy Brandt of Lansdale wrote The Reporter in Lansdale saying there is still hope for one of two suspects charged in the Hen's Coins robbery of Jan. 21

Cindy Brandt, of Lansdale, is the mother of a friend of Hen's Coins and Collectables robbery suspect Gene Ray Kulp, a North Penn High School senior and football player.

Kulp was arrested, along with Michael Creciun and Anthony Hughes, in connection with the Martin Luther King Jr. Day robbery of the Lansdale Main Street business.

Brandt wrote a Letter to the Editor of The Reporter, where she expressed hope and prayers for Kulp's future.

These mouth-breathing wastes of resources need to be off the streets. I can't go to Lansdale knowing these dumb pieces of shit are on the loose. I used to spend a ton of money in Lansdale, what with the nail salon and the health food place and all the shops.... but not now. Do something.

You attacked a senior citizen, you're obviously going to do more. They are dangerous. It would be negligent to leave these people among the population. They need to go away.

This is also NOT news. Newsflash: A woman thinks another abusive, violent male is probably really good at heart. Gee, yeah, that's newsworthy. That lady needs to wake up and try not to let her kid hang around with any more criminals.
