Allentown Man Gets 10 to 24 Years for Fracturing Bones of 7-Week-Old Hilltown Boy
Michael Dasburg, 28, fractured 15 bones in the boy's body, including the ribs, arms, legs and collarbone.
An Allentown man was sentenced to 10 to 24 years in state prison for fracturing 15 bones in a 7-week-old Hilltown boy in 2012, according to The Intelligencer.
Michael Dasburg, 28, physically abused the boy while he lived with the child’s mother in HIlltown Township, per reports.
Dasburg was found guilty by jury on Tuesday after a three-day trial.
Bucks County Judge Wallace Bateman called Dasburg “an extremely violent person” who committed an “unspeakable” crime, per the report.
Dasburg’s attorney tried to pin the abuse on the baby’s mother, Brittany Kirby, 22, police said.
Dasburg’s crimes became known during x-rays of the boy in November 2012, who was being treated at the hospital for a high fever, per the report. The x-rays showed fresh and healing breaks of the ribs, arms, legs and collarbone.
