Montgomery Township Police will be collecting expired, unused or unwanted prescription drugs for disposal as part of the National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day Oct. 26. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., citizens can bring said drugs to the Walgreens at 710 North Wales Road at Route 309 in Montgomery Township. It is part of the sixth National Take-Back Initiative, spearheaded by the Drug Enforcement Administration. The DEA is collaborating with state and low law enforcement agencies to remove the unwanted controlled substances from peoples' medicine cabinets.
