Dwelling Fire on Valley Forge Road

Valley Forge Road is closed between Morris Road and Sumneytown Pike as fire crews battle blaze at 1876 Valley Forge Road.

Towamencin Fire Co. is battling a house fire at 1876 Valley Forge Road.

According to witnesses at the scene, there was no one in the home. The homeowner, Matthew Budinko, is en route on Allentown Road.

Preliminary reports state the fire started in the kitchen. Firefighters busted out windows to ventilate and knock down the flames.

Neighbors said there were animals in the home, and that at least two bodies of dogs were recovered.

Fire police have Valley Forge Road closed between Morris Road and Sumneytown Pike.
