A Philadelphia man who worked temporarily at K'NEX in Hatfield Township pleaded guilty to his crime Tuesday and was sentenced to three to 23 months in county prison for stealing $800 in toys from his employer, according to The Intelligencer.
Purnell Scarvers, 31, of the 1500 block of Page Street, also had the items shipped by K'NEX for $323 to the mother of his children in Pottstown, per the report.

K'NEX officials contacted police after they became suspicious of two UPS shipments, one weighing 37 pounds and the other weighing 27 pounds, per the report. Shipments were made Feb. 12 and Feb. 13.
