Lansdale Man Grabbed, Hit Woman on July 4th, Police Say

A Lansdale man was charged with simple assault and harassment after he allegedly attacked a woman in Skippack.

Robert Frank Schur, 41, was taken into custody and charged July 5 for the Fourth of July incident, police said.

Police said Schur was involved in a fight with a 26-year-old Schwenksville woman on the 1100 block of Bridge Road in Skippack at 11 p.m. July 4.

Police said the fight escalated, and Schur allegedly grabbed the woman by the neck, pushed her, hit her in the face and threw her to the floor.

Schur was given $5,000 unsecured bail, police said.
