Lukoil Burglarized in Montgomery Township

The suspect smashed the glass door with a hammer, police said, and ended up taking nothing from the store

Montgomery Township Police are investigating a burglary that occurred around 12:56 a.m. at the Lukoil/Kwik Farms convenience store at 913 Bethlehem Pike, Montgomery Township.

Video surveillance showed the burglar smashed out the front glass door of the store with a hammer, police said.

The burglar entered the store carrying a white plastic bag, then went behind the counter and began to look through the cabinets, police said.

It is believed the burglar was looking for cartons of cigarettes, police said.

The burglar did not take anything from the store.

The suspect is described as a white male with a muscular build, close cut hair, with a goatee and mustache, police said. He was wearing a black baseball hat, a white short-sleeve shirt, blue jeans, white sneakers and light blue latex gloves, police said.
