Mo-ped Man in Montgomery Gets Five for Third DUI
Charles N. Gamber, 37, of Ascot Court, was warned earlier in the night of September 29 by police not to drive his moped, according to The Intelligencer. He did it anyway.
A Montgomery Township moped driver, now convicted thrice for driving under the influence, is heading to jail for up to five years, according to The Intelligencer.
Charles N. Gamber, 37, of the 600 block of Ascot Court, was weaving back and forth on Upper State Road on the night of September 29 in Montgomery Township, according to the article.
According to the court affidavit, Gamber was pulled over for improper registration. He then pulled the new one out of his backpack; the backpack also contained beer cans. Gamber also had alcohol on his breath, according to the complaint.

Hours earlier, Gamber, who was drunk at the time, police allege, was told by police not to drive his moped. Police had responded to Gamber’s home on Ascot Court for a domestic call.
