A Perkasie man was charged with misdemeanor retail theft on Christmas Eve for allegedly attempting to steal $500 in groceries from Giant on Route 113 in Hilltown, police said.
Police said Timothy John Denver, 36, of the 500 block of West Market Street, had allegedly taken the groceries past all points of retail sales around 11:30 a.m., police said.
