PNC Bank Robbed Thursday Night Inside Hilltown Giant Food Store

A white man in his 30s robbed the bank shortly before 7 p.m. Thursday. He fled in a silver vehicle onto Route 113.

Hilltown Township Police are searching for a man who robbed the PNC Bank inside Giant Food Store on Route 113 Thursday night.
Police said the robber is described as a white man in his early 30s, 6 feet tall, with scruffy, few-days'-growth facial hair, wearing a teal green jacket and a faded baseball cap pulled down low.
Police received a call at 6:58 p.m. Thursday of a robbery that had just occurred inside Giant Food Store, police said. Upon arrival, police were told the robber had entered the banking area and handed the teller a note demanding money, police said.
The bank teller complied and the man fled the store out of the exit closest to Route 309, police said. He entered a small silver vehicle and fled the shopping center onto Route 113, police said. He carried the money out of the store in a green cloth Giant shopping bag, police said.
No one was injured, police said.
