Police: Towamencin Man Threw Metal Rod Through Window of Home

Paul Norman Woite, 22, of Steven Lane, allegedly threw the object through a garage window and dented a door of a home on the 900 block of Woodlawn Drive on Monday, police said.

A Towamencin Township man is facing charges of criminal mischief and disorderly conduct after police said he allegedly threw a metal rod through a window and damaged a door of a home on Woodlawn Drive.

Paul Norman Woite, 22, of the 1300 block of Steven Lane, allegedly damaged a home on the 900 block of Woodlawn Drive on Monday at 1:56 p.m., police said.

Charges against Woite were filed in Lansdale District Court, police said.

The homeowner reported to police that someone threw an object through their garage window and dented a door of the home, police said.

Witnesses saw a man, who police said was Woite, exit a green Ford Explorer, walk onto the property, and throw something through the window, before fleeing the scene, police said.

Upon arrival to the home, police found a metal rod, which was identified as the item allegedly thrown by Woite, police said.

Officers searched the area for the suspect vehicle, and eventually found the Explorer and Woite on Conestoga Lane, police said.

Police did not have an estimate on the amount of damage.
