Souderton Woman Injured, Charged in Perkiomen Crash

The one-vehicle accident occurred Saturday on Dieber Road, police said.

A Souderton woman was injured Saturday night in a car crash on the 100 block of Dieber Road, west of Pennypacker Road, in Perkiomen Township, Pennsylvania State Police said.

Makenzie E. Galinski, 20, of Souderton, was transported via Lower Frederick EMS for treatment to Einstein Medical Center Montgomery following the 10:36 p.m. accident, police said. Galinski was wearing her seatbelt, police said.

Galinski was charged by police in the accident for failing to drive on the right side of the roadway, police said.

Also transported to Einstein for treatment of injuries was Galinski’s passenger, Anthony J. Crowe, 22, of Collegeville, police said. Crowe was not wearing a seatbelt, police said.

Police said Galinski was driving a 2006 Audi A4 northbound on Dieber Road, and allegedly negotiated a right curve, police said.

The Audi left its lane of travel, went into the southbound lane and ran off the west side of the road, police said.

Galinski’s Audi then struck a stone wall, where it came to rest, police said.

The Audi was towed from the scene, police said.
