Two Injured in 2-Car Crash in Towamencin
The accident occurred at 4:35 p.m. at Wambold Road and Sumneytown Pike.
One person was airlifted to the trauma unit at Abington Memorial Hospital and a second person was transported via ambulance to Lansdale Hospital following at two-car crash at Wambold Road and Sumneytown Pike in Towamencin Township Monday afternoon.
According to PA Driver Watch, Towamencin Vol. Fire Co., Towamencin Township Police and Volunteer Medical Service Corps of Lansdale responded to the accident at 4:35 p.m. A second ambulance was called at 4:51 p.m. from Trappe Fire Company, according to reports.
At 5:20 p.m., JeffStat helicopter was within two minutes to Abington Memorial Hospital.
