Police said the stocky teenager attempted to draw the clerk's attention away from his accomplice, as the thin teen reached across the counter in an attempt to steal the cigarettes.

The clerk yelled at the thin male, and both teens walked out of the store, police said.

They then immediately walked back in, and separated again, police said.

This time, the stocky male picked up a bag of chips and walked to the counter, where he asked his accomplice if he was ready, police said.

The stocky male then threw the bag in the clerk's face, while the thin male reached over the counter in an attempt to steal cigarettes, police said.

The clerk yelled, and both ran out of the store, and continued east on foot on Main Street, police said.

Anyone with information regarding the identification of the teens is asked to contact the Lansdale Police Department at 215-368-1801.
