Worcester Man Injured in Water Street Road Crash

David Cardy, 50, of Worcester, suffered a minor head injury in the crash on Nov. 8.

A Worcester man was injured in a one-vehicle accident on Water Street Road in Worcester Township Nov. 8, police said.
David Cardy, 50, of Worcester, refused medical service by Lower Providence EMS, but went to Einstein Medical Center Montgomery for treatment of a minor head injury, police said.
Police said Cardy was driving a 2002 Lexus RX300 eastbound on Water Street Road toward Quarry Hill Road around 12:55 p.m. Nov. 8. 
Cardy then traveled onto the eastbound roadside, where he hit a traffic sign, polcie said.
The vehicle continued eastbound, crossing the northbound and southbound lanes of Quarry Hill Road and striking a culvert, police said. The car came to rest on the front lawn of 1342 Quarry Hill Road, police said.
