Ex-Knights Football Coach Pettine Jr. Eyed for Browns Head Coach

Mike Pettine Jr. was hired as the Baltimore Ravens defensive line assistant in 2002, after seven years as head coach of the North Penn Knights.

As the Cleveland Browns search for a new head coach, one man with local roots has come under consideration—former North Penn Knights football coach and current Buffalo Bills defensive coordinator Mike Pettine Jr.
According to CantonRep.com, Pettine Jr. is the son of famed former Central Bucks West winning coach Mike Pettine Sr., who led the Bucks to five state titles and more than 300 wins in 33 years.
Pettine Jr. became the Bills' defensive coordinator in January 2013. He was hired after seven years coaching at North Penn as the Baltimore Ravens defensive line assistant in 2002.
