Souderton Football Grabs First Season Win Saturday
The Indians stand 1-5 in its season thus far.
Souderton Indians football was victorious against Pennridge Saturday, coming out of the game with its first win of the season in a 32-29 bout.
In under 60 seconds in the fourth quarter, Manny Nieves snatched a 65-yard touchdown pass from quarterback A.J. Curotto to put the Indians over the top, according to The Intelligencer.
Souderton has lost five its past six games, bringing its record to 1-5 (1-2 in the Suburban One League Continental Conference).
Standout Indians included Nieves, Curotto, Adrian Carbone, Blake Gular, and Matt Pierce.
