ATM Knifepoint Robbery Charges Dropped Against Lansdale Man

According to reports, Montgomery County prosecutors have received new information in the Sept. 19 crime and dropped charges against Derek Joel Brady, 26, of Lansdale.

A Lansdale man, who is heading to trial for the alleged knifepoint robbery of the former Attic thrift store in Lansdale on Oct. 3, had all charges dropped against him  in a knifepoint robbery of a woman on Sept. 19 at the Citizen's Bank ATM on East Main Street in Lansdale.
Derek Joel Brady, 26, of West Second Street, Lansdale, was arrested Oct. 9 by Lansdale Police and charged with both incidents. However, The Reporter Online reports that charges against Brady in the Sept. 19 incident were withdrawn by prosecutors at the beginning of his preliminary hearing Thursday on the Attic robbery.
Lansdale Police told The Reporter that they have received new information on the case. Police did not say if an arrest was imminent.
